I’ve been designing homes since 2008. Before that, I was the European Events Manager for a global property firm, delivering hundreds of premium events across the continent. I bring the wealth of project management experience in that role, and in property development, to how I work today. I design intuitively and instinctively, reading a property, its location, and the people who’ll actually live there.

I’m committed to quality design and delivering projects in an organised way, and a key aim is always to make the process easy for clients.

Some clients want a steady, reassuring hand. Others are ready to be pushed towards something bolder than they’d try alone. I do both: I’ll always tell you honestly what I think, and if there’s a braver route, I’ll show you what it could look like. Intuiting what clients want and need, I encourage them to be more daring and nudge them towards looks they might not try on their own, so they get the look they really want. Each project is unique, and to me design is all about balance. I believe there are no design rules, and I encourage clients to do what they want, even when they’re not quite sure what that is.

My style mixes 1950s Italian, mid-century Scandinavian and Victorian influences: texture, colour, a bit of quirkiness and beauty, with quiet consistency underpinning it all. Practicality and functionality are key and always the starting point. We take on projects of every kind, though I’m drawn to properties with character, because of the wealth of creative possibilities they afford.

Good design should feel effortless. That’s why I do the thinking for you (the ideas, the sourcing, the decisions, the detail) with a small team of three, united by a shared love of crosswords, indie rock, post-punk and Nordic noir. Most of our work comes from returning clients and their recommendations, and because we’re a small team, we usually have a waiting list.

I interpret a client’s brief to create timeless designs, mixing old and new with a strong focus on quality, practicality and individuality.  I design to reflect a client’s style, property, needs and desires, and produce designs which are relaxed yet inspiring and integrate the mind, body and soul.  I feel it’s important for a design to work practically and place high value on organisation, tidiness and beauty.  Essentially, have it because you use it and/or love it!  I add value by managing everything on a client’s behalf.  Most of my clients work long hours and I bring the same attention to detail and level of service they give to their clients.  I’m demanding on their behalf, working with dedicated and reliable project managers to deliver tailored solutions to save clients time and add value.  My recent designs exhibit my new focus on design rooted in the ethereal where I bring together divine finds with a contemporary feel.
